Photo & Video Content Creator

Description

Artelo helps artists and businesses bring their ideas to life. We’re looking for a Photo & Video Content Creator to bring our products, people, and production process to life through compelling photography, video, marketing content and customer facing assets. You’ll create everything from styled product photos to behind-the-scenes footage and short-form social videos. Working with our small marketing team, you’ll help develop ideas, plan shoots, and take content from concept to final edit. There’s plenty of room to experiment, shape our visual style, and bring your own ideas to the work. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys making things look great, notices the details, and knows how to turn an everyday moment into a story worth watching. Strong portfolios matter more than years of experience, and recent graduates are welcome. This is a part-time or full-time role with scheduled shoots at our Mount Sterling facility.

Responsibilities

• Work within a small existing team with lots of freedom.
• Plan and shoot product photography featuring our art prints, frames, canvas, and packaging.
• Record and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social channels.
• Capture our production processes, team, and day-to-day work.
• Bring fresh content ideas, plan shoots, and coordinate with our team.
• Style products and set up lighting, backgrounds, and compositions.
• Edit photos and videos, including color correction, audio, captions, and formatting.
• Write captions and supporting copy for social posts.
• Keep content organized and deliver finished work on schedule.

Requirements

• A portfolio showing your photography and video work, including short-form social content. Recent graduates are welcome. Your portfolio can include school, personal, or freelance projects.
• Ability to take a project from initial idea through shooting and editing.
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Experience with photo and video editing tools such as Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• An eye for product details and accurate color.
• Understanding of what makes content engaging on social media.
• Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Availability to work on-site for scheduled shoots.

Nice to have

• Experience creating content for art, home decor, e-commerce, or consumer brands.
• Experience styling and photographing products in room settings.
• Comfortable directing people on camera or appearing in videos.
• Experience scheduling posts and using performance results to improve future content.
