Custodian & Groundskeeper

Description

Artelo produces art prints, frames, and canvas products. We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to keep our facility clean, organized, and well cared for, from bathrooms and production areas to equipment and outdoor grounds. This is a hands-on cleaning and groundskeeping role. You'll follow a regular cleaning schedule, notice areas that need attention, and take pride in keeping the entire property looking its best.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, and empty trash.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout production areas, offices, and shared spaces.
• Remove dust, debris, and cobwebs from surfaces, shelving, fixtures, and accessible overhead areas.
• Clean production equipment and workstations according to training and equipment-specific procedures.
• Collect and dispose of production waste, cardboard, and recycling.
• Keep walkways, entrances, loading areas, and parking areas clean and free of debris.
• Mow the lawn, trim edges, remove weeds, and maintain the grounds.
• Perform routine deep cleaning and address spills and other cleaning needs as they arise.
• Keep cleaning supplies organized and report supplies that need replenishing.
• Follow safety procedures and report damage, leaks, or other facility issues.

Requirements

• Someone reliable, thorough, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to tackle both everyday cleaning and bigger cleanup projects.
• Ability to stay organized and maintain a consistent cleaning routine.
• Comfort with active work, including standing, walking, bending, and working outdoors.
• Willingness to learn how to use cleaning products, equipment, and lawn tools safely.

Nice to have

• Previous custodial, commercial cleaning, or groundskeeping experience is helpful.
